One of Wisconsin's outstanding muskie fisheries, the.Chippewa Flowage was created in 1923 when Northern States Power Company constructed the Winter Dam on the Chippewa River just below the confluence of the East and West forks. Tremendous trophy potential with a good chance at a 40-pounder. The world record 69lb, 11oz fish was taken from this water.
