ESRI GIS and Mapping Software Conference, San Diego , CA , August 2004Jenny and JR of MAD MAPS met with Quan Vu, Director of Telematics and Personal Navigation Sales at Tele Atlas, who introduced them to the wonderful world of GPS.
Tele Atlas is a leading provider of digital maps and aggregator of dynamic content for the navigation, telematics, and wireless industries. In simpler words, if you happen to use a hand-held GPS unit, or have one in your car, or search for driving directions online - more often than not, you're seeing information that has been meticulously compiled by Tele Atlas.

Hogs for Dogs
Hogs for Dogs, San Francisco , CA , September 2004On September 19 th 2004 , MAD MAPS joined Max and Bailey on a benefit ride to Alice 's Restaurant sponsored by Dudley Perkins Harley-Davidson in San Francisco and MAD MAPS.
Max and Bailey are two Golden Retrievers who are riding across the U.S. in Harley-Davidson sidecars. The Hogs For Dogs Charity Ride ,(hogsfordogs.org) in affiliation with Paws With A Cause®, and other partners around the country, is raising money to benefit organizations that provide assistance dogs for people with disabilities.
By the time they arrived in the Bay Area, Max and Bailey had ridden thousands of miles and through 35 states in their quest to help others and MAD MAPS was only too happy to lend a helping hand to this important cause.

A Day at the Races
Infineon Raceway, Sonoma, CA, Superbike Races, April 2003Every spring for the past three years, we've been getting up at the crack of dawn and heading to the track for Superbike. We remember when it was Sears Point. More often than not we try and get a booth next to RKA so that we can pal around with Kathy & Rich. And we can always count on Fred from Hap Jones for providing "refreshments" throughout the day.

Indianapolis Powersports Dealer Show
Indianapolis, IN, February 2003Maggie was very disappointed that she was the one
who got left behind this year to (wo)man the fort while Jenny and JR headed
out to one of the biggest annual events in the powersports industry...
But as Maggie sees it, the two Jenny's got what was coming to them...
They experienced record low temperatures, icy conditions, a night in the
ER, and a pair of crutches for the trip home.
